Our birth was originally planned to take place at Mountain Midwifery but due to a prolonged labor, failure to progress from 7cm, and eventually risking out of birth center care at 42 weeks we were transfered to Swedish Medical Center where the wonderful Dr. M. Hall went in after him / her.
On October 9, 2009, at 6.11 pm we found out that the 7 lb. 9 oz baby was a baby girl! From that moment on we have continued falling in love with our daughter. This is a short video of our journey through a castor oil induction and five days of labor to meet our Cora Beth.
(I will always claim she was born 70% at MMC and 30% at Swedish)
Disclaimer: for those of you who don't want to see any of the 'gross' birth stuff, rest assured there is none
The grossest part is the castor oil.
